A: I went out to the Garden for a bit. Nanoos other DJ friend from Chicago was out there sulking, you know? Still salty about Nanoos clowning him on that call. I tried to lighten the mood, even gave him a copy of my EP to put on that new USB he had. Thought maybe he’d start experimenting on the sticks instead of whining about what Nanoos thinks of him.
Q: Did you see what he did with the USB afterward?
A: Nah, but he had this weird look on his face. Like… plotting something. He wasn’t mad at me, but he sure wasn’t letting go of Nanoos’ comment about laptop DJs.

Q: Sheefy, we need to talk about the mural outside. It depicts someone deadlifting and collapsing under the weight. Coincidentally, that’s how Nanoos was murdered and I am trying to figure out why..
A: (laughs) Man… I didn’t plan that. I had a vision. Paint just moves through me, you know?
Q: A vision? Of Nanoos specifically?
A: I don’t paint people, I paint energy. The city of Detroit… it whispers to me. Sends me little visions. Sometimes it’s a car, sometimes it’s a bottle of Faygo, sometimes it’s somebody falling on their ass under a barbell.
Q: You realize that’s… oddly specific.
A: (grinning) Look, if the city says “paint it,” I paint it. Don’t blame me, blame Detroit.
Detective Annotation: Sheefy’s answers remain evasive but colorful. He denies intentional targeting of Nanoos. His explanation — visions from “the city of Detroit”— is difficult to verify but keeps him in the pool of suspects.
Q: Did you speak with Bianca after the Zoom call?
A: Yeah, she told me about her friend being all bent outta shape. I said she should just give him a blank USB to smooth it over. He seems sensitive about that laptop stuff. I didn’t think it’d go this far though.
Q: Did you notice anything unusual later?
A: Well, Bianca told me he actually used the USB. She sounded surprised. Next thing I know, I hear he was making some kinda “special mix” for Nanoos’ gym routine. That sounded sus to me. He doesn’t exactly scream “helpful teammate.”
Investigator Notes: Confirms Simone gave the other DJ the USB and links the file directly to Nanoos’ workout routine.
Open Questions: Who are Simone and Bianca? Are they also DJs? Who was the other person on the call?
Q: Why did you give Preme the USB?
A: I just wanted to make peace. I thought if he felt included, maybe he’d chill out. I mean, Nanoos teases about laptop DJs on podcasts all the time — I didn’t think her friend would take it so hard.
Q: Did he tell you what he planned to do with the USB?
A: He didn’t say much, but… I saw him scrolling TikTok and downloading some awful mix. I figured he was just messing around. I didn’t realize he was gonna gift it back to Nanoos. He was in the studio room.
Q: Do you think he meant harm?
A: Honestly? He wanted her to hear the worst transitions ever. With Nanoos’ ego? He knew it’d drive her nuts. I don’t think he meant for her to pass out though.
